On July 23, 2015, the porch of the Ruesch Auditorium at the YMCA of the Rockies – Estes Park Center turned into a jazzier version of the United Nations with the kick-off of the 12th annual International Fair.

Participants who joined in on the International Fair proudly represented their country with posters, unique snacks, traditional attire, presentations, and national flags. So many flags!

CCI Greenheart participants from China, Jamaica, Jordan, and the Philippines joined the total 18 countries represented in the colorful affair. I was so honored to attend the celebration with my family, YMCA co-workers (international and domestic), managers, community supporters, and campers who stopped by.

The event rallied at the end of the evening with a fantastic display of music and dancing. Boy, was there dancing! Some traditional music, pop hits and group-dance classics, such as the Macarena, drew the crowd in for laughs all around.

Even medals were distributed to staff who participated in the Employee Olympics throughout the week. Winners of the mini-golf event proudly displayed their medals the rest of the evening as they went about their daily activities on the beautiful campus of the Estes Park campgrounds.
