Color pencils… check!

Scissors… check!

Glue… check!

On June 30th CCI Greenheart staff members, Joe Burns and Wioletta Olszowiec met with 10 Work Travel participants in a beautiful park in Mackinaw City, MI for another Greenheart Service Project. This time, participants made holiday cards for children around the world, while enjoying a great view and some pizza. Each card had a different design and unique greetings, however, they had one thing in common -each was very personal, made with passion and care. CCI Greenheart was happy to send these one-of-a-kind cards and brings smiles to children faces.

Are you ready to make and send out your own card? Here is a guide to make your own greeting card:

  1. Pick the occasion: What’s the purpose of the card? Will it be holiday’s card for your family, a birthday card for your Mom or a thank you card to your best friend? Decide on what you’ll focus on for your greeting card project.
  1. Buy the supplies: Colorful designed papers, glue, color pencils, rubber stamps,  paper trimmers, ink pads, leaves, flowers, the list of the supplies is endless, use your imagination and make it personal!
  1. Have fun and share your greenheart by sending handmade cards!
