Every summer over 100,000 participants arrive to the United States to take part in the Work & Travel program. These participants are international university students who come to the United States during their university breaks to work in the United States. While here they improve their English, learn about American culture, have a greater understanding of citizen diplomacy and experience cultural exchange! The below participant, Yikang (a Chinese student) shares what she has experienced so far in her first month in the United States.
