Work and Travel Participant’s Experiences in the ‘Water Park Capital of the World’
This has been an amazing opportunity and I know that for the rest of my life I will be grateful for this experience.

I could not even think when I found out that I was accepted into CCI Greenheart’s Work and Travel program in the United States! When I arrived in the U.S., I had no idea what to expect. Now, I can say it has exceeded my expectations. Everything is new to me; it’s the first time that I have seen snow in my life! The winter weather is very cold in “The Waterpark Capital of the World.” In the three months that I have been in the small town of Wisconsin Dells, the number of winter tourists has surprised me.
Working as a lifeguard, my English has developed a lot! I have met new people, learned more about American culture, and visited new places. My supervisor has given me and the other J-1 participants lots of great experiences. We had an employee party, we are given prizes as an incentive, and my supervisor is always available to solve any problems. This has been an amazing opportunity and I know that for the rest of my life I will be grateful for this experience.
